Dominick LaCombe, Jr.
Operations Manager
Dominick LaCombe Jr. grew up learning the boat building trade from his father, who is president of American Custom Yachts. Dom Jr. has worked in all areas of the American Custom Yachts' boat yard over the past 15 years, only taking a break to earn his degree in Business Management from the University of Florida. Dom Jr. transferred from American Custom Yachts to IMS American in 2006 to oversee total operations of the audio-video, electrical and marine electronics divisions. Dom Jr. works to ensure that his team maintains the highest level of customer service and product knowledge.
Brian Kelley
Director of Installation
Brian Kelley joined IMS American as an audio-video sales consultant and was quickly promoted to the position of director of installation. Brian is responsible for overseeing all field personnel, including installation, programming, IT operations and telecommunications. One of Brian's goals is to assist in creating a seamless transition from the initial design phase of a project to its final completion. Prior to joining the IMS American team, Brian ran a successful private practice in the health care industry for eight years. Along with his entrepreneurial achievements, he has also served as a licensed community association manager. He successfully coordinated a $2 million renovation project for a community association of over 300 units following the hurricanes of 2004. Brian brings with him over ten years of business and management experience, including business development, account servicing, personnel management, budget oversight, contractor negotiation, marketing and communications. Brian received his B.A. in Sociology and Psychology from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York. He then earned a four-year degree as a Doctor of Chiropractic at Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Brian strongly believes in the value of efficiency, and feels that a positive work ethic is the key to exceeding client expectations.
Joe Dieffenbach
Installation Manager
Joe Dieffenbach came to IMS American in 2007 and quickly worked his way into the position of installation manager. In this position, he is responsible for engineering and reviewing jobs before they are contracted, scheduling installations and service, and supervising all jobs from start to finish. Joe has received formal training from Furuno, KVH and Maretron. He has over 24 years of experience in marine electronics and is known for his "picture-perfect" wire runs.
Dave Donnelly
Director of Field Support
Dave Donnelly came to Florida from New Jersey nearly 30 years ago in pursuit of a career in marine electronics. He began his career training to become an installer at a local marine electronics company. Within six years, Dave's superior customer relations ability had landed him in the position of service manager. This new position eventually led Dave to start his own marine electronics business in 1990 where he gained more experience in the sales, service and installation. In 2006 Dave came to IMS American where he is now responsible for scheduling and overseeing all service work and installations.
